When you are the owner of a house and you have to be in charge of all of the upkeep and repairs, it just seems like the jobs will never stop coming.

For example, this year when the weather finally started cooling off after summer, our furnace broke down.

I was so annoyed when I went to turn the thermostat up and nothing happened. I switched the thermostat back and forth from heating to A/C a few times, but all it did was click. I was basically in disbelief at that point because over the summer, I had to replace our central air conditioning system too. I couldn’t believe my bad luck when I realized that not only did I have to replace the A/C, but I was going to have to replace the furnace unit too! Talk about having to pay a fortune in A/C bills! I guess when you own a house, it’s just always going to be a huge investment. There’s always something going wrong, it seems like. I remember my parents getting irritated with broken windows or a leaking roof or a messed up HVAC system back when I was a kid. Back then, I never really understood why stuff like that made them be in such a bad mood. Now, though, with this broken furnace right after a broken A/C unit, I can definitely relate to those bad moods! I was definitely in a bad mood when the bill came for the A/C repairs in the summer. I am trying to brace myself for the huge heating repair bill that’s in my future.

Our old electric furnace finally bit the dust last year and we have to get a new one before the weather starts cooling off.

The winter is going to be here before we know it and for some reason, I just keep putting off the inevitable fact that I need to call our local HVAC company to have them come out to the house and service our furnace unit.

We just got a brand new furnace and it’s supposed to be a great, high efficiency sort of thing so we should be able to save a lot of money on our heating bills this winter. When we first got the furnace installed this year, I promised myself that we were always going to be on top of things whenever it comes to getting this new furnace serviced. Our last furnace bit the dust earlier than it should have probably because I didn’t do very well at keeping it well maintained and serviced by our HVAC professionals the way that I should have. Now, with this new furnace, I’m going to make sure to take care of it. That will save me lots of money in the long run, along with the fact that I’m saving ten percent off of the original cost of the heating unit by leaving a big sign in my yard advertising the HVAC company. When they installed the furnace, they told me that they would be able to save me quite a bit if I would just put the sign in my yard for a few months.

We bought a really old house last year and we are working on restoring it a little bit at a time.

We knew that we were going to have to do some restoration and updating on the heating and cooling system in the house, but we never thought that it would end up taking quite as long as it has.

We have been having so many issues with the furnace and the air conditioning in this place that it’s hard to believe. We thought that it would actually be an easy fix. Actually, we thought that we would just wait until the last minute to work on the HVAC system since we thought that it wouldn’t really end up being an issue for us. Then when we finally got ready to do the heating and cooling system, we thought that it would only take a couple of weeks to get done. Now that we’ve been working on getting the furnace and the air conditioning system completely redone, along with the ventilation ducts and the air registers. It ended up taking months to get the correct furnace and air conditioning parts for the house because of all of the shutdowns that happened this year because of the coronavirus. At this point, I’m beginning to wonder if we are ever going to be able to finish updating this house!

It was actually one of the main reasons that we ended up with the HVAC system that we did. I don’t think that we would have purchased it at all if it didn’t have this special extended warranty. I have really been burned in the past when it comes to different furnaces and air conditioning systems. When you buy something like that and spend so much money on it, you really expect it to last for a long time. However, in my experience, I’ve always seemed to get duds when it comes to heating and cooling systems. This time, though, I wasn’t about to get burned again when we had to replace the HVAC unit in our new house. I knew that I wanted a high efficiency heating and cooling system, and I knew that I also wanted something that would be compatible with a whole home air purification system. We weren’t very picky about the brand name or anything like that, and so we had several options to choose from. For the most part, the price points for the high efficiency HVAC systems were basically comparable. So for us, which HVAC system to choose really all came down to the warranty that was going to be available. We looked around at several different places and we ended up finding this HVAC company that offers a great extended warranty. They also give great discounts on furnace and A/C repairs throughout the rest of the year.
