Not enthusiastic with oil furnace repair

Last week, I noticed that 1 of the zones in my lake home had no heat coming from the vents.

I fiddled with the thermostat but couldn’t get it to work.

Since it’s the middle of January and there was a blizzard on the way, I decided it best to call for repairs right away. I managed to get an appointment for the following day. The repairman showed up right on time and spent less than thirty minutes working on the gas furnace, she told myself and others everything was all fixed and presented myself and others with a considerable bill for her services. I inspected and there seemed to be warm air flowing from the vents, so I paid the service bill. Within multiple minutes, my entire heating program shutdown and wouldn’t start back up. I tried everything and finally had to call the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor back. She was unable to return until the following day. I then went separate from heat overnight. I was certainly thankful for my heated blanket. With the outdoor temperature dropping down into the teens, the home became uncomfortably freezing absolutely abruptly. When the Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman returned to inspect the gas furnace, she discovered a faulty section that needed to be replaced. Since she had to order the part, I went separate from heat for another night. I also needed to interrupt my workday three days in a row to meet with the serviceman, but for each appointment, she failed to take off her shoes and tracked dirty through my house, making a mess for myself and others to clean up. I was certainly unhappy with the level of service gave by this Heating and Air Conditioning contractor.
