It’s terrible when you lose someone close

Last summer time the guy who the two of us relied on for all of our heating, ventilation, and A/C needs passed away… Gerry was the coolest person that I met that put his heart and soul into his heating, ventilation, and A/C company from the time he was a teenager until his late eighties… Ever since my partner and I moved into town nearly forty years ago, this was the single and only guy who was able to take care of our up-to-date home for us.

And he was also the first friend that the two of us made around here, but i can still remember when the two of us first moved into town and he took the time out of his day to walk over to our beach house with a homemade meal and introduced himself.

Then well, After a few weeks of accepting the fact that our friend and longtime heating, ventilation, and A/C tech was no longer with us the two of us had no other option but to start looking for other options. So far the two of us have had rather poor results and don’t think we’re comfortable forming a long term partnership with any of the other heating, ventilation, and A/C companies in town. When talking to the majority of these companies the first thing they bring up is a price before even asking for your name. If you were to ask myself and others it seems like over the forty years that the two of us were relying on a single guy there have been dozens and dozens of heating, ventilation, and A/C companies that have finished making up and clearly are more focused on profit than the people they serve. Sooner or later the two of us will have to hire somebody though, or else the two of us will be out of luck when the cold winter time rolls around.
