Even in the middle of a hurricane or storm, a/c might mean the difference between being comfortable & being annoyed. 3 years ago, a style 4 hurricane swept up the coast & our family & I did not have power in our home for 6 days. That’s when both of us decided to put a generator in our home. We called an HVAC corporation to install a generator that will run all of the A/C & multiple lights & the refrigerator. The HVAC corporation installed the generator during their offseason, & our wife & I saved $300 on the installation fees. They were running a special at the time & both of us took luck of the amazingly low prices. I won’t worry much about the hurricanes this year, because both of us have power & cool air.
