I had never heard of an HVAC technician before my friend told me his plans
Honestly, I had never even heard of an HVAC technician before my friend told me that he planned to become an HVAC technician. I guess that I would have known sooner if I would have asked my friend what he wanted to do with his life. Obviously, we are not best friends. If we were best friends, I would have already known that he wanted to be an HVAC technician. Regardless, when he told me that he wanted to be an HVAC technician, I was momentarily confused. I obviously know what HVAC is, and I knew that there had to be people who fixed HVAC units, but I had never heard them called HVAC technicians, and I never thought about anyone becoming an HVAC technician. We had HVAC technicians in our house often to fix our furnace and our central air conditioner, but I never really thought about them. I guess that the HVAC technicians came often when I was at school, and I was so busy doing what I normally do that I did not think to consider that some people have jobs that consist only of fixing HVAC units. However, regardless of that, when my friend told me that he wanted to be an HVAC technician, all of the pieces of the puzzle connected. Not only did I learn something, but I was also glad for my friend. I am sure that he will be a great HVAC technician. Maybe he will fix my HVAC units one day. Still, I am glad that I didn’t decide to become an HVAC technician. I don’t think that I would have liked it.
