Home renovations
Some people would consider aged homes to be a lot of work. But I find a charm in vintage houses that current homes seem to lack. So when I had the opportunity to buy an aged cabin I jumped on it, but when I first saw the extent of the disfigure, I started having ninth thoughts about my decision to purchase this house. But after that I saw the beauty hidden under the dirt, & what it could be if given a little bit of love. It would be a crucial & costly project. But I decided to see it forward. To name a few concerns with the home, the entire HVAC unit needed replaced, wallpaper was peeling down the walls, extreme wood rot in various areas, holes in the walls, bug infested, leaky roof, & lots of mold growth. For not the first time I wondered if the home was truly worth saving. I decided to tackle the mold & broken heating & cooling idea first. I called out a heating & cooling professional to completely take out the aged furnace & a/c. It was well rotted away & filled with dust. Then I visited my local furnace & a/c corporation & purchased a brand new gas furnace & a/c… Later that month it was installed & for the first time in a long time the home had a laboring central heat & cooling system system, it was progress but there was still a lot of labor to be done. It took me an entire year before I managed to get the cabin in a livable state.
