Grandpa actually made myself and others labor my way up

When people hear that I labor for a family business, they always know that I lay around all morning and do nothing.

They think that I am paid severely well simply for being born into the right circumstances, i understand why people make that assumption, however they’re dead wrong about it.

In fact, I would say that I’m the hardest worker at our family supplier! My Grandpa is not the sort who believes in nepotism or playing favorites, and he has honestly made myself and others labor my way up from the bottom. 50 years ago when my Grandpa opened his heating, cooling, ventilation shop he was the first Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealership in the area! His skills were severely pricey and he was constantly hiring on current heating and cooling specialists. He would personally train the air quality control specialists to perform routine repair services and emergency replacements in line with his severely high standards. He did not let a single person perform residential or commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C inspections without passing a rigorous training program. He also made his specialists go through weeks of menial labor in order to build their loyalty to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C shop; When he hired myself and others on as a prospective heating and cooling specialist numerous years ago, I figured that I would have to go through some of the same trials. I expected to be put through the wringer and to pay for my own heating and cooling education at a local trade university. However, I never thought that it would be numerous years of cleaning bathrooms and answering PCs without even touching a single heating and cooling implement. I suppose Grandpa wants to make sure I’m as dedicated as the other Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists.
