Don’t feel good about using the space furnace in the bathroom
Occasionally I’m completely worried that our household is going to burn to the ground.
I try hard to be careful with everything however I have this strange premonition that I’m going to watch my life go up in flames someday.
I envision myself kneeling on the street in the middle of the night while the fire department hustles around my property, illuminated by the brilliant light of our household being on fire. I haven’t been able to get this imagery out of my head recently plus I suppose I know the reason why… It’s not only because I’m completely paranoid, it’s because of our space heater. You see, I came to realize several months ago that the bathroom fan in this household does not work. There’s a giant ventilation fan situated in the master bathroom however it does nothing. When I flip the switch to turn on the ventilation component the only thing that happens is a lot of excruciating noise. My air quality never improves plus I do not think that the indoor air is ever vented outside. Furthermore, I don’t really know that the heating plus cooling HVAC duct leading to the bathroom absolutely provides any high-quality indoor air. It seems like the heating plus cooling device is not really connected. This is why I wound up using a small space furnace in our bathroom to circumvent the frigid afternoons without any heating, but unfortunately, I do not feel good about using the space heater. I feel like I’m just one accidental towel-misplacement away from burning down our entire household. Until I can finally afford a heating, cooling, plus air quality control appointment to repair the heating plus cooling device…I take as few showers as possible.
