Sometimes I wonder why people bother to have weddings at all.

If you ask me, the entire ordeal is a bit unnecessary if you’re getting married for the right reasons. If you truly can’t wait to spend your entire life with somebody, why do you need a big party to celebrate your partnership? Isn’t it good enough that you have found each other and settled on a lifelong agreement together? It seems like you would be better off saving your money and investing in your future life, rather than blowing it on an open bar and catered food that everybody hates. That’s my opinion, anyways. To be fair, I also absolutely hate weddings… Including the one that I attended last week. I already thought it was a bad idea to have a wedding in general, but holding it in the dead of winter was an interesting choice. The air temperatures in this area are nothing short of frigid throughout the entire long, dark winter season. Choosing to have a big celebration with formal dresses when it’s 0 degrees outside did not make any sense to me. However, my cousin decided she was getting married no matter what the climate was going to be. I guess she had no idea that the indoor air temperature would quickly match the outdoor air temperature when the heating system broke down in her chosen venue. On the day of the ceremony the massive commercial furnace apparently took a turn for the worst. As the guests began filing into the banquet hall, the indoor air temperature plummeted. We wound up shivering in our seats, wearing our winter coats, and trying to shield ourselves from Ice Cold drafts for several hours. What an ice cold start to the marriage.

Don’t get me wrong, I easily realize that I have made some controversial choices that other people fully struggle to understand. Most recently, my friends were giving me a pretty difficult time in regards to my most recent love interest. Now, to be tolerable I wouldn’t actually say that this is a kindred spirit type of connection in the least. So long as the people I was with and I have things to offer each other. Namely, the rich man that I have gotten involved with can offer me various resources for my indoor air handling needs plus I can offer him my youthful beauty. Roughly a year ago I went through a major heating plus cooling machine crisis at my residence. Out of the blue, my forced air gas furnace decided to quit working in the middle of the cold season. I immediately had to call the local heating, cooling, plus air quality control dealership to make an emergency maintenance appointment. At that point, the emergency service fees plus professional Heating plus Air Conditioning expenses easily wiped out my savings account. A couple of months later when my Heating plus Air Conditioning machine broke down again, I had no chance for replacing the indoor air handling machines. That was around the time that I accidentally grew a romantic interest with the heating plus cooling shop owner… He asked me out plus I agreed without putting too much into the consequences. She was having a rough time in the basement. When dad got there, she said she couldn’t help but beginning laughing so strenuous that she had tears rolling down her cheeks. The tech was stuck between the oil furnace plus the wall plus she couldn’t budge. Apparently her shirt had gotten fastened to a nail sticking out of the wall. This was our normal conversation while in lunch. Last week, she came lake apartment plus asked if she had ever told us the story about the HVAC tech who always wore lipstick when fixing an A/C unit? Every one of us all looked a bit skeptical. Every one of us had never heard of a woman who wore lipstick plus we couldn’t wait for the story. She said that every time they sent this worker out to work on an air conditioning, they had lipstick on. She said the story spread rapidly plus everyone wanted to see the tech who wore lipstick. She said she was laughing, as always, because she knew who the tech was. When numerous HVAC techs got out of the maintenance van to ‘help’ the tech, everyone blushed. The HVAC tech with lipstick, was the new female tech they had hired just a couple weeks earlier.
