There are just so many other people who have it much worse than I ever have.

Those allergies and their affects have been something that I have had to contend with all my life. I still come home to my HVAC controlled house and am welcomed into my lovely family each day, allergies or not. There are so many blessing in my life that I have to say my allergies are really more of an annoyance. I have been to all sorts of doctor who have prescribed me many types of medicines. They have been a mixture of good and ineffective. However, they all tend to focus on the symptoms and less on how to deal with the root cause. The HVAC and the air quality in my home was something that I could actually do something about. Really, it just took one call to the HVAC people who have been taking care of us for decades. We discussed my situation and they sent out a tech to inspect our home. A few days later, I had a big solution and that was the whole house air purifier. This thing destroys all the airborne contaminants that trigger my allergies.
