A squirrel in the A/C unit

We have been climbing the walls on week 5 of our quarantine, plus totally run out of things to take on as a project. We played all the video games, all the board games, watched all the movies we had, and to keep a long story short run through every fun thing the people I was with and I had in the house. My partner reminded me of her family’s outdated cabin up by the lake, and we were thinking that would be a nice thing to do, then it would still be isolated, just in a bizarre location, so it would be a nice change of scenery for us. It did not occur to us until after we had shown up that the outdated cabin may not have a perfectly working air conditioner. This area had been built long before central AC was even a thing that usual folks could have in their houses. When we I got there the people I was with and I found that there was in fact no central air conditioner, which was upsetting, but the people I was with and I did see the mounting bracket on the kitchen window where a box genre AC unit would fit, so the people I was with and I began to look for it. We found it up in the attic, an AC unit that looked to be more rust than metal, that was particularly older than our partner plus I put together! Very, very gently we started to take it downstairs plus set it in the AC mounting bracket, then gingerly congested it in. We were so surprised when it started to blow out cooling air, plus even more surprised when it started blasting out acorns, from where a squirrel had been living inside of it!
