We started using an air purifier to help with allergies
Periodically, I have to check myself when I get to feeling sorry for myself. I complain about my life. There are just so many people who have it much worse than I do. I recognize people in my own community who struggle with the things that I don’t even know if I could ever get my head around. So, when I start complaining about the impact that the indoor air quality of my house has on my dust sensitivities, I sort of roll my eyes. These dust sensitivities as well as their effects have been something that I have had to deal with for all my life. I still come back home to my Heating, Ventilation & A/C controlled house and I am always welcomed into my charming family each morning, whether I have dust sensitivities or not. There are so many blessings in my life that I would say that my dust sensitivities are really more of an annoyance than anything I have been to all sorts of different doctors who have prescribed me several types of medicines for my allergies. They have been a mixture of effective as well as ineffective. However, they all tend to focus on the symptoms. They don’t really deal with the root cause. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C and the indoor air quality in my house was something that I could really do something about. Really, it just took a single call to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C people who have been taking care of us for decades. We discussed my situation and then they sent out a technician to inspect our home. A few days later, I ended up with a solution. It was my whole home air purification system. This thing destroys all the airborne contaminants that trigger my dust sensitivities.
