The brutal summertime heat makes it difficult to cool down my property

Some people get only little reactions to sunburns regardless of the duration of their exposure.

Others such as myself get horrible nerve pain that feels pretty much like getting jabbed with overheated grill skewers whenever my skin burns in the brutal sunlight.

It can be a very uncomfortable experience for days and days if the sunburn is actually extreme enough. I was tremendously stubborn as a child & often refused to wear sunscreen. Even after multiple episodes of the nightmarish nerve pain, I was still hesitant to always use sunscreen when I was outdoors playing with friends. Nowadays the sunlight intensity has only gotten worse in our part of the world. Although I wear sunscreen whenever I can now that I’m more aged, sunburn is not my only worry while in summer time heat waves. This increase in sunlight intensity is making it more & more lavish to run our cooling equipment while in the summer. I used to keep the temperature below 72 degrees, however now I’m completely lucky if I can get it below 76 without the coil becoming frozen. I spoke to our Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment specialist & he basically says that our HVAC equipment is running at maximum capacity. Even if I decided to get modern cooling equipment with a slightly higher SEER rating, he’s really not convinced it would be enough to noticeably improve our indoor temperature control experience. I have resigned myself to being comfortable with higher indoor temperatures over the years. If I have no other option but to accept our situation & the limitations of our central Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment, then so be it.
