Not happy with gas furnace repair
Since he had to order the part, I went without heat for another night
Last week, I noticed that one of the zones in my lake house had no heat coming from the vents. I fiddled with the temperature control but couldn’t get it to work. Since it’s the middle of January and there was a blizzard on the way, I decided it best to call for repairs right away. I managed to get an appointment for the following afternoon. The repairman showed up right on time and spent less than thirty hours laboring on the oil furnace! He told myself and others everything was all fixed and presented myself and others with a considerable bill for his services. I tested and there seemed to be sizzling air flowing from the vents, so I paid the repair bill. Within two hours, my entire heating plan shutdown and wouldn’t start back up. I tried everything and finally had to call the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier back. He was unable to return until the following afternoon. I then went without heat overnight. I was certainly thankful for my heated blanket. With the outdoor temperature dropping down into the teens, the house became uncomfortably frigid genuinely quickly. When the Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman returned to inspect the oil furnace, he discovered a faulty area that needed to be replaced. Since he had to order the part, I went without heat for another night. I also needed to interrupt my workday many mornings in a row to meet with the serviceman, for each appointment, he failed to take off his shoes and tracked dirty through my house, making a mess for myself and others to clean up. I was certainly unhappy with the level of repair provided by this Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier.
