I was going to buy a new car.
When the air conditioning in my car broke, I knew it was time to purchase a new car. I knew there was something wrong with the air conditioning, but I couldn’t afford to have it fixed. I was told that the most expensive thing to repair on a car is the HVAC system. I have made so many repairs to my car, that the car mechanic looks at me like I’m his friend or something. I can’t afford to do very many repairs. I was stuck on a vicious cycle of making car repairs every couple months. Now, with the air conditioning, I have no more faith in the car. I have decided that I just need to replace the entire car. I’ve been driving for almost fifteen years and I bought the car used. There isn’t much else I can do. I am just hoping I can afford to buy a new car. I’m not sure if they will give me a trade in value for the car. It’s actually worth less than what the new air conditioning unit would cost. I guess I’ll drive the car until it gets too hot to go without air conditioning. In our area it gets hot quickly and daytime temperatures are often in the upper nineties and into the hundreds. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to drive the car to work and school without air conditioning. I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed that I can find a car before summer hits. I really need a car that has air conditioning.
