I could have really used a small AC unit
Schools, businesses, plus restaurants have been closed for 30 days now.
- My family plus I had to find a way to entertain ourselves.
We had a whole garage full of wood panels, multiple-by-fours, plus drywall. We decided to build a small tree lake house in various of the oak trees in the backyard. I tested the project from sunup until sundown. I came in for supper with the kids, although I worked outside the rest of the afternoon. It took various weeks to complete the treehouse project. Now that it is finished, the kids are having a great time hanging out in the trees. We only have a single problem to fix. It’s genuinely warm inside of the treehouse plus the heat plus humidity are only going to get worse as the Summer progresses. My spouse plus I had a great idea. We thought about buying a small portable a/c to put in the tree house. We even talked to the local Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor about the idea. The contractor told us that he could absolutely install a portable a/c, however he also said it wasn’t a genuinely difficult task. He provided us the name of a few odd portable a/cs that would work well in this application. My spouse plus I went to the hardware store to find one of the a/cs. We had to run a dedicated extension cord out to the Treehouse, although I managed to hang the portable a/c in a high corner. It’s out of the way where the kids will not bother it, plus it still provides a great deal of cooling power to the whole room.
