Don’t try to fix your own air conditioner without experience

There is a reason that heating and air conditioning professionals go to all those lengths to be certified and licensed for what they do.

I have the price tag to prove it.

Going forward with a stupid idea of fixing my own heating and air conditioning went so terribly wrong that I can hardly feel I thought it was ever a relaxing idea. It all started when I noticed that the heating and air conditioning was cycling on a whole lot. It was still early summer time so the temps weren’t exactly broiling yet. But the heating and air conditioning was running all the time. I felt the air coming out of the vents and it wasn’t near as cool as it normally is. This is the spot I should have reached for the PC and called the heating and air conditioning professionals that all of us have used for decades. That is not what happened. Instead, I went to the iPad and looked up a diagnosis online. What could go wrong? It appeared to me that all I had to do was go to the hardware store and get a new heating and air conditioning recharge kit. They wouldn’t even make them if I couldn’t use them right? Of course, I didn’t think about what I was doing nor did I even legitimately think what sort of concern the heating and air conditioning was having. But that didn’t stop me from hooking up the recharge thing. It didn’t take but a few hours before I heard a pop and then a loud hiss. This wasn’t at all good. At least I had the wherewithal to turn off the heating and air conditioning and call the heating and air conditioning people. I had cracked the compressor and caused some other injury that was totally unrelated to the initial problem. Please, learn from my stupid mistake. Only have the pros fool around with the heating and air conditioning.
