At the dentist today, the heating system came on

While all of us were at the dentist today for my son’s check up, the heating system came on for the first time this year. It wasn’t absolutely all that cold today, however I believe they have their temperature control set so that it comes on the first afternoon of September every year. That turned out to be a real problem for them today, because the weather outside ended up being rather unseasonably sunny plus tepid this afternoon. The temperature had climbed all the way into the high seventies by the time all of us left the dentist’s office, plus the entire dentist’s office was absolutely tepid plus uncomfortable on the inside. I mentioned the temperature when all of us were in the waiting room, plus the office director told myself and others that they aren’t able to set the heating plus cooling controls inside of the office. I believe the central maintenance department does that for them, but today, it absolutely wasn’t working to their advantage. They truly would have opened up the windows to get some ventilation into the building, but they are on the sixth floor plus so the windows are all sealed shut so they can’t open them! By the time all of us left, everyone in the office was perspiring, including the dentists plus the doctors. I think they absolutely need to rethink the whole idea that someone who isn’t even in the office building is setting the temperature control controls! I don’t know who came up with that idea, anyway. It seems to myself and others that professionals should typically be able to set their temperature controls to a level that is comfortable for them.
