My heart was with the HVAC tech.
I felt my heart flutter and I couldn’t take my eyes off her
I don’t believe in love at first. I have never even thought that love could happen to me. I was fine with being a single guy and living by myself. I date once in a while, but getting serious was not in the cards for me. I thought that maybe my heart was too hard to find love, but I was soon to find that this was not true. You see, I had to have some work done on my furnace. I hadn’t had the furnace serviced early that year because of the pandemic. I usually have the furnace cleaned and serviced after winter is over. The pandemic had me not wanting to have anyone, including the HVAC technician coming into my house. I didn’t want to go through a winter without having my furnace serviced, so I gave up and called the HVAC company. I told them the HVAC technician had to wear a mask while in the house, and he needed to wear rubber gloves. The person who took my call promised me that they would follow all protocol to keep myself and the HVAC tech safe. The minute the technician walked into the house, I couldn’t take my eyes off her. Not only was it the first female HVAC tech I had ever seen, but she was stunning. I felt my heart flutter and I couldn’t take my eyes off her. I sat in the basement the entire time, talking to her and not wanting to go away. I would have asked the HVAC tech if I hadn’t seen her wedding ring glistening in the light. At least I knew my heart was open and ready to find love.
