Licensed HVAC technicians are the experts on your HVAC

He gently explained that installing the ductless unit came with instructions.

There is a lot to be said for those intrepid individuals who are out there attempting to hustle in order to make a living. The gig economy is here to stay and it’s rather interesting. I’m all for those who are being proactive and doing their best in order to make it through uncertain economic times. Yet, there won’t be any handyman repairing my HVAC. My wife and I trust a very gifted handyman to do all sorts of projects around the house. This guy has an understanding of most things that is just amazing. He know how to build or repair almost anything that we can throw at him. And it’s really nice that he charges a reasonable rate as well. This handyman has done some really terrific work around and on our home. I even had him install a ductless HVAC unit for the sunroom that I bought online. So it seemed natural to call him when the main HVAC unit started acting up. I was met with a near immediate no. This was strange given all his knowledge and accomplishments. But he was adamant that he would not work on the HVAC for our home. He gently explained that installing the ductless unit came with instructions. However, it takes real expertise to be able to work on a heating & cooling system. He told me to just call for the HVAC professionals as they were the only people he would ever trust to touch his HVAC. That was certainly more than enough for me.
