Someone stole all the firewood
The day that I arrived at her cabin was the same day when she went outside to gather some wood..
I really must wonder about human beings sometimes. I want to suppose that they are mostly inherently good. However, the simple fact of the matter is that I have seen this disproven over as well as over again in this lifetime. I am certainly a bit cynical when it comes to trusting other members of our species. It doesn’t help matters that people are continually providing more current evidence to solidify my suspicion of the species… Recently, our fear of people was proven once again when I attempted to go and spend time with our Dad as well as realized that the people I was with and I were in the middle of a heating calamity; My Dad lives in a cold as well as distant part of the country that I tend to avoid. I am not a big fan of brutal outdoor air rapidly changing temperatures that dip below zero degrees on a common basis. I really don’t love using a central oil furnace afternoon in as well as afternoon out just to survive. It’s not our system of fun to shovel a driveway or rely on a forced air natural gas furnace to keep frostbite at bay. All of that being said, I thought that I could suck it up as well as have a wonderful holiday with our Dad despite the cold indoor as well as outdoor climates, then little did I know that I was going to arrive to her cabin just in time to have zero heat. Apparently, our mom’s central oil furnace had broken down just a few weeks earlier. Rather than repairing the luxurious gas furnace system that kept her alive, she was counting on her traditional wood burning fireplace for warmth. The day that I arrived at her cabin was the same day when she went outside to gather some wood… Only to realize that the entire stack of her heating fuel was stolen. I’m chilly cold as well as I dislike people immensely.
