HVAC repair for qualified technicians only
However, I definitely won’t cut corners when and if it comes to HVAC repair.
When money gets tight, it is easy to panic and start cutting corners on your budget that are simply unwise. This is true for all of us and not meant as a criticism. It’s not easy to selectively eliminate cost from the household budget. I know because I go over our budget all the time in an attempt to find more money. But, now that we are staying in our HVAC maintained homes in order to contain this virus, money has gotten really tight. One of the things that I can do is try to lower our bills until we can get back to work. I know that we are not too far from the HVAC cooling being on a whole lot. We discussed, as a family, that we may have to adjust to higher HVAC settings in order to lower the utility bill. The heat in our area really gets intense. While we attempt to not overcool the house when it’s empty or during peak heating hours, we are going to have to do more. The HVAC setting will be in direct proportion to how hot it is outside. We can save a lot of money with this sort of HVAC operation. However, I definitely won’t cut corners when and if it comes to HVAC repair. There is just no way that I will use someone who isn’t a qualified HVAC technician to do anything to the HVAC. It just doesn’t make any sense to jeopardize such elemental equipment. If I use a handyman for an HVAC repair, I may be setting myself up for a much bigger expense ahead.
